Buckwheat Tea 100g

Buckwheat Tea 100g

Our buckwheat tea is crafted from roasted black Tartary buckwheat seeds, creating a naturally caffeine-free drink with a deliciously nutty flavour.

What is it?

Buckwheat tea, also known as soba tea, is a traditional beverage in Japan and Korea, enjoyed both hot and cold.

Since buckwheat is naturally caffeine-free, you can savour a cup at any time of day, serving as a wonderful alternative to coffee. It also makes an excellent choice as a warming brew in the evenings compared to black or green tea.

How to make it?

  1. Place one teaspoon of buckwheat seeds in a cup.
  2. Pour in 150-200ml of boiling water.
  3. Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • For a refreshing summer drink, follow the steps above, then chill the tea in the fridge or serve it over ice.
  • You can also add milk, as the delicious, nutty flavour of plant-based milk pairs exceptionally well with the natural taste of buckwheat.
  • If you prefer a touch of sweetness, enjoy it with a spoonful of raw honey.
  • Each portion can be re-brewed 2-3 times, allowing one pack to yield 50-60 cups of tea.
  • Brewed buckwheat kernels are safe to eat; you can dry them and use them as a crunchy topping for salads, porridge, or yoghurt.
Ingredients

100% Tartary buckwheat seeds.

Gluten-free and free from additives and preservatives. Vegan and non-GMO.
